One of Norway’s largest private Munch collections can be seen in our lobby bar BAR BOMAN. Arne Boman Hansen, the second-generation owner, chanced on 12 prints by the Norwegian Expressionist at an Oslo art dealer in 1932.
Since he offered to buy them all, Boman Hansen was given a special price of only NOK 5 500. These authentic works now represent the cornerstone of our investment in art and culture. Edvard Munch lived from 1863 to 1944 and was a renowned painter and graphic artist both in Norway and internationally. He helped to pioneer the Expressionist school.
